Welcome to AccessHealthWA, your site for information on the In-Person Assister Program in Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston counties in Washington State.
The Health Benefit Exchange has created the In-Person Assister Program to help individuals throughout Washington State learn about and apply for health insurance which will begin in 2014. The State has developed Washington Healthplanfinder which will allow consumers to learn their eligibility for Medicaid or Qualified Health Plans, compare plans, and enroll into insurance. If consumers have questions or need help enrolling, that’s where we come in!
Starting in October 2013, In-Person Assister’s will be available in your community to help you enroll into insurance.
CHOICE Regional Health Network is the lead for organizing this network of In-Person Assisters in the area, and will be creating some easy-to-use tools for you to find your local In-Person Assister, provide feedback on the program, and get connected to free or low-cost insurance.
