The ConneXions Security System Validation
Solution
The Java Runtime Environment Version 5 will be
the software utilized to support a new ConneXions
log in procedure. The new procedure implements an
added security measure that will no longer allow
Windows (or any other OS) to save the ConneXions
password. In addition, there is another level of
enhanced security available that will allow any
computer system to be uniquely identified and
approved to access ConneXions. This security feature
complies with the requirement by HUD.
Below are the steps to install
Java Runtime
Environment Version 5 on each computer when logging
in to ConneXions: PLEASE HAVE EVERYONE COMPLETE THIS
SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD BY NOVEMBER 22, 2006.
For every computer system accessing ConneXions
